Only One Church

I read an article on MSNBC about the Pope's recent statement concerning the universal primacy of the Roman Catholic Church. He reaffirmed that Christ established only one church, and that all other Christian denominations are "ecclesial communities" without the means to salvation. An interesting quote:

“Christ ‘established here on earth’ only one church . . . [Other communities] cannot be called ‘churches’ in the proper sense” because they do not have apostolic succession — the ability to trace their bishops back to Christ’s original apostles.

I don't know, it sounds an awful lot like they've got the right idea and the wrong church...
